Get your heart rate up as you explore Foley Mountain’s rugged Orange Trail as part of our 60th anniversary Outdoor Adventure Challenge!
Join two experienced guides to explore the beautifully rugged Orange Trail through a mix of forest, wetlands and rocky outcrops. The hike will cover about 2.5 km on moderately hilly terrain and will take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete, including interpretive stops along the way. Light refreshments will be available after the hike.
Meeting point: We will meet at the Interpretive Centre, which is at the very end of Foley Mountain Lane. There is plenty of parking as well as washrooms.

Before you go:
Bring a reusable water bottle. We will have a refill station at the trailhead
Sturdy, water-resistent shoes are strongly recommended
Dress for bugs, including ticks. Long, light-coloured pants tucked into socks are recommended for tick prevention. Bug spray is also highly recommended
Dress for the weather with layers and a hat
This trail is considered moderate and is not accessible for those using strollers or wheelchairs.

Outdoor Adventure Challenge
Our 60th Anniversary Outdoor Adventure Challenge is taking place throughout 2026. This self-guided challenge encourages participants to visit all 11 conservation areas by year’s end. Get outside and explore our sites to the best of your ability! Adventurers can even send away for a set of free water bottle stickers featuring each of the sites.
