If you’ve been looking for some boating fun this summer, then come down to the Rideau Ferry Regatta at the Rideau Ferry Yacht Club on August 17-18. There will be vintage boat racing, fun competitions, and more. It’s a great way to spend the weekend with your family. Events include:
- The six hour boat building competition. Teams of four build a canoe on the 17th and race their vessel on the 18th.
- The toy boat shelter for kids includes a crafts for the kids, where they can build and paint their own boat as well.
To register your team for the boat building competition, come down August 16 between 5-8pm to the Rideau Ferry Yacht Club.
