Smiths Falls, the spirit of Kingston is coming to town.
On Saturday, November 7, prepare for an evening that transcends a typical tribute. The Hip Experience is bringing the raw, poetic energy of Canada’s favorite sons to an ultra-intimate stage in Smiths Falls. This is your chance to hear the anthems that defined a nation, delivered with the grit and heart they deserve.
The Show: A Celebration of the Legacy
From the frantic opening riff of “Little Bones” to the haunting, collective whisper of “Wheat Kings,” we aren’t just playing the hits—we’re channeling the soul of The Tragically Hip.
• The Sound: Capturing the signature twin-guitar weave and driving rhythm that made The Hip a stadium-filling powerhouse.
• The Spirit: Derek Lathrop brings the nuances, the stories, and the unmatched charisma of Gord Downie to life in a way that honors the legend.
• The Connection: In a room this size, there is no barrier between the band and the fans. Expect a night of high-octane rock and communal storytelling.
