KidFish is a free fishing derby for kids ages 16 and under, which takes place in the Tay Basin and along the Tay River. The Derby runs from 8-11 a.m. beside the Perth Legion, and prizes and lunch are provided for all registered kids (lunch begins at 11 a.m.). This is bank fishing only (no boats) between Gore and Beckwith Streets. Hosted by the Town of Perth and Perth Fire Services, with special guests the Lanark & District Fish & Game Conservation Club.

P.S. – Youth 17 and under are not required to have a fishing license.
