The Music Team at St. Paul’s United Church in Perth is sponsoring an exciting musical event: Perth musician and composer Mark Bailey has written a music score to accompany the 1931 classic horror movie, Frankenstein. The movie will be seen on the large screen in St. Paul’s accompanied by a live orchestra playing Mark’s new score, with Rick Rangno conducting.
Mark Bailey is a professional musician and has been a published composer for many years, but this is a particularly major accomplishment! Bailey’s music captures all the excitement and foreshadowing of the movie but also sheds a fresh light on the character of Frankenstein. His music enhances the movie. Both movie buffs and music lovers will be intrigued.
