Make plans to attend the ‘First Annual Dinner, Dance & Silent Auction Fundraiser for Dignity House Hospice’ taking place Saturday January 29th. The fundraiser is taking place at the Civitan Club and tickets are $50 (with a $25 tax receipt available). Tickets are available from Jo’s Clothes.
The January fundraiser is the first of a number of initiatives that we will be undertaking this year. To donate or volunteer, please watch for more updates in local papers and on Lake 88.
The Dignity House is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to establishing a hospice for Lanark County Residents, supported by community donations. The day program will be starting on January 17th while the residential hospice will open later in the year. This service will be provided at no cost to the participants and will offer an option to people facing end-of-life decisions.
