{"id":442,"date":"2010-01-16T09:32:02","date_gmt":"2010-01-16T14:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/explorewinterparkflorida.com\/?p=437"},"modified":"2010-01-16T09:32:02","modified_gmt":"2010-01-16T14:32:02","slug":"new-and-improved-winter-park-museum-soon-to-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communityexplore.com\/winterparkfl\/new-and-improved-winter-park-museum-soon-to-open\/","title":{"rendered":"New and Improved Winter Park Museum Soon to Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Residents from the City of Winter Park, FL, may have been a bit disappointed to learn that part of the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art was closed to the public, but that\u2019s bound to change when the museum finally fully opens before the year ends.<\/p>\n<p>Regular visitors will delight in knowing that the museum will be better and more importantly, bigger. The Morse\u2014as it is more commonly known\u2014will also house collections from Louis Comfort Tiffany\\&#8217;s long-demolished estate in Long Island, Laurelton Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The renovated and expanded Morse\u2014which took around $5 million to pull off\u2014will also be putting on display Tiffany\\&#8217;s famed Daffodil Terrace, something never-before seen in Winter Park.
