The Winter Park Sunday Running Group has been a source of pleasant running experiences and friendships for hundreds of runners over 40 years. We encourage and welcome runners of all ages and speeds to join us on the course which offers exceptional scenery throughout Winter Park. The most popular distances range from five to ten miles, but the course easily accommodates shorter loops of three or four miles. It is our policy to ensure that people new to the group are warmly welcomed and that they do not get lost on the course.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t Pitch It \u2013 Fix It<\/h3>\n

WINTER PARK, Fla., an internationally recognized ICMA Excellence Award winner with accredited fire – rescue, police, and parks & recreation agencies (April 12,2017) \u2013 The City of Winter Park and Winter Park Public Library will partner to host the very first \u201cDon\u2019t Pitch it, Fix it<\/strong>\u201d Workshop Saturday, May 13, from noon to 4 p.m.<\/strong><\/span>, at Winter Park Public Library located at 460 E. New England Ave.<\/p>\n

This unique community event will provide the opportunity for residents to have broken items repaired by skilled volunteers and\/or swap items with other members of the community. The workshop is designed to support the city\u2019s Sustainability Action Plan by reducing the daily consumption of goods in homes, encouraging recycling, helping to save money through trade, and learning valuable skills and resources from volunteers within the community. Items that may be considered for fixing or swapping include clothing, eye glasses, bicycles, furniture, electronics, tools, fishing poles and much more. Services are subject to change or increase.<\/p>\n
