The Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Freshman Jazz Band will perform an array of music that showcases the bands\u2019 tradition of musical excellence. <\/p>\n<p><img src=\\\"http:\/\/www.communityexplore.com\/winterparkfl\/files\/2015\/04\/band_slides_March2014-300x200.gif\\\" alt=\\\"Winter Park High School Bands\\\" width=\\\"300\\\" height=\\\"200\\\" class=\\\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1936\\\" style=\\\"margin:0 0 10px 10px; padding:3px; border:solid 1px #000;\\\" \/>The Spring Concert will be held on <strong style=\\\"font-size:14pt;\\\">Wednesday, May 6, 2015<\/strong> and will feature works by Aaron Copland, Paul Hindemith, and David Gillingham. It will also feature senior concerto winner Sara Nazarian on the Chaminade flute concerto.<\/p>\n<p>The Memorial Weekend Pops Concert will be held on <strong style=\\\"font-size:14pt;\\\">Friday, May 22, 2015<\/strong> and will include lighter works by Frank Ticheli, Chuck Mangione, and John Philip Sousa. It will feature our second senior concerto winner, Matthew Mignardi, on the famous Carnival of Venice. The concert will conclude with a salute to our nation with performances of the Armed Forces Salute, America the Beautiful, and Stars and Stripes Forever!<\/p>\n<p>Both concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Ann Derflinger Auditorium on the Winter Park High School main campus, 2100 Summerfield Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.
