Watershed Discovery Day provides interactive exhibits and activities on the state of our local water resources, the challenges facing them, and the programs and plans available to address them \u2013 and experts from the area agencies managing our water resources.<\/p>\n
Have you ever wondered about:
\nHow safe is our water?
\nShould I be testing my well?
\nIs bottled water better to drink than tap water?
\nWhere is the best paddling and camping in the area?
\nWhat are invasive species, and should I worry?
\nWhat is the status of blue green algae?
\nAre zebra mussels and loosestrife still a problem?
\nAre major changes underway in our lake and stream water levels?
\nWhat is being done with the Haggart and the Bobs Lake dams?<\/p>\n

\nThis is a fun and informative morning featuring the popular Paddling Puppeteers, our educational \u2018fish pond\u2019, the Perth & District Library story corner, water critters display, and prizes for all.<\/p>\n
