Painting Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n (Having fun while you learn how to work and play with your paint!)<\/strong><\/p>\n Saturday,\u00a0May 9, \u00a02015<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>with Gloria Shoebridge<\/p>\n Time:\u00a09:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/span> (bring your lunch and snacks)<\/p>\n Cost:\u00a0<\/strong>$40.00 for MERA members, $60 for others.<\/p>\n Cost of supplies:\u00a0<\/strong>$20, which will include all paints and acrylic materials<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A Mother’s Day Concert at MERA featuring Triola<\/strong><\/p>\n A Blue Jeans Classic event<\/strong><\/p>\n Sun, May 10, 2015<\/span><\/p>\n Time:\u00a02:00 p.m<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Mother’s Day, May 10th will see the MERA Schoolhouse\u00a0in McDonald’s Corners\u00a0filled with music for grandmothers, mothers, wives and others, played by Triola, an exciting classical music trio, comprised of mothers and grandmothers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Clean Up Day 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n Wednesday, May 6th from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Every year a large group of volunteers comes out and helps to clean up the yard after the winter, raking, planting, painting if necessary. Bring your rakes and gloves and energy!<\/p>\n We provide pizza at about 5:30 – courtesy of John Parks – and a few people bring a dessert\u00a0to share which is much appreciated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Arts and Crafts for Home Schooled children<\/strong><\/p>\n Third Tuesday mormings of April, May and June, 2015<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 9 a.m. until 12 noon<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Some parents of area\u00a0home-schooled children have requested that MERA organize a\u00a0 program for children, about Grade two level and up, to learn some of the things MERA does so well: weaving, knitting, spinning, pottery, basketry, bead work, etc.\u00a0 The\u00a0third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. until 12 noon\u00a0<\/strong>has been set aside for creative activities for home-schooled kids.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WHO:\u00a0The Bombadils<\/b><\/p>\n WHAT: Sunday Schoolhouse Concert Series<\/p>\n
