Bring your appetites and enjoy local Lanark County corn smothered in butter\u2026mmmm! There are log benches around the campfire, but you may also want to bring a lawn chair.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #6c6e59;\">Fresh boiled cobs of corn are available for $1.00 each and the Friends of Murphys Point will also be selling soft drinks and cookies.\u00a0 Corn roast ends when the corn runs out, so come early! Plan to stay at the amphitheatre for the evening program that starts at 8 p.m.\u00a0 Dogs are permitted on a 6 foot leash but must be kept away from the food service area. The site is wheelchair accessible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #6c6e59;\">Remember you must hold a valid Ontario Parks vehicle day use pass, seasonal pass or camping permit for park entry. Your park entry permit can be purchased at the main park gate. Why not come to the park earlier in the day and spend time at the beach or hike one of the many trails before the corn roast?
