<\/strong>\"\"<\/a>The band riding a wave of success, The Sultan of Strings<\/strong>, played their hearts out to bring their music to you. April 15, 2011. The 2010 JUNO Award nominees and \u201cCanada\u2019s Ambassadors of Musical Diversity\u201d entertained each and every one of the audience with their world-renowned renditions of Spanish Flamenco, Arabic Folk songs, Cuban tunes and French Gypsy-jazz. Everyone expected to witness a celebration of musical fusion and creativity with the warmth and talent of the band, and they were not disappointed. With fierce violin dancing with flamenco guitars, backed up with funk bass playing great grooves, Sultan of Strings definitely was the band to look out for. Playing live, everyone danced to their irresistible beats.<\/p>\n

Everyone was delighted to hear acoustic strings meet electronic beats to create awesome layers and depths of sound. The band is on the wave of success from their previous sold out \u201cYalla! Yalla!\u201d<\/em> from their Canadian Album release tour. Their debut album, \u201cThe Luna,\u201d sold millions and has reached number 1 across Canada on the Top Ten national radio charts. The band also won the Best Variety Act award from the Festivals and Events Ontario and the 2008 International Songwriting Competition as well. The acclaimed promoter, David Wilkes, now represents the band.<\/p>\n

The band has been receiving a lot of positive reviews from a lot of critics. They also have been pleasing their audiences from all ages for years now. They pleased their audience as they played their enticing beats that definitely made everyone stand on their feet and dance. They played last April 15, Friday at 13 Victoria St., Perth ON. They redefined music by presenting a mix of cultural music and modern beats.
